“I think family members, especially, can be very protective when their loved one has an eating disorder. They’ve had to play such an active role as the protector from the eating disorder, from healthcare professionals, that they can be really untrusting of treatment centers. I think families can feel very fragile or helpless- sometimes even more so than the client.

“I invite family members to look at Alsana’s policies and safety protocols and to have the admissions nurse talk them through a day-in-the-life. Information is powerful.”
-Lyn Goldring, Chief Nursing Officer

There is no reason to delay eating disorder treatment. At the same time, we know that clients and their loved ones may have questions or even anxiety about the safety of in-person eating disorder treatment during COVID.

As part of our ongoing commitment to remove access-to-care barriers, we’d like to share how we are keeping our in-person programs safe and available for those in need of a more structured level of care.

Individuals of all genders and ages struggle with #eatingdisorders, and they all deserve hope and healing.

Follow the link in our bio (Alsana Assured) to learn more about Alsana’s safety protocols and more. If you still have questions, reach out to us via Live Chat today. #AllinThisTogether
